It is often said that the ancient city of Chang’an holds half of China’s history. When this profound historical heritage meets contemporary aesthetics, a visionary dialogue on the future of the urban landscape begins. The power of design transcends time; it connects, nourishes, and continuously elevates the world around it.

The “City Crafting” 2023 Global Design Masters Summit recently concluded with resounding success in Xi’an. This grand assembly gathered 14 international design grandmasters, 30 industry visionaries, and over 800 real estate developers, designers, and luxury hospitality executives. Representatives from the Xi’an Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism also graced the occasion to offer their congratulations.

Centered around the core theme of “City Crafting,” an elite roster of keynote and panel guests took the stage, including Glenn Pushelberg, Piero Lissoni, Soo K. Chan, Kaoru Mende, Wei Min Li, Ed Ng, Yohei Akao, and Steve Leung. Together, they offered genuine insights into the intrinsic meaning and value of design in urban evolution.
