MAHA Beijing × André Fu: The 520 Show Flat

  • May 12, 2026

Beijing: a city simultaneously authored by history and the future.

As the renowned author Lao She once said, “In autumn, one simply must live in Peiping.” Yet, the embrace of this city extends far beyond its four seasons; it bears the weight of the dialogue between the East and the world, and silently witnesses the spiritual homecoming of every era.

MAHA Beijing stands precisely here. This residential legend, crafted by Adrian Zecha, utilizes an inherently extraordinary spiritual ethos to chronicle a story of the pinnacle: Amidst the urban bustle, it frames a sanctuary of tranquility. Years slip by within the dappled shade of trees, and the shifting beauty of the four seasons fills the eyes—capturing the most breathtaking essence of the capital, and cradling a serene, unruffled soul.

André Fu

The Poet of the Asian Design World

Tranquility, Nature, Self, and Absolute Ease Beyond the Clamor

With his signature aesthetic of minimalist “quiet luxury,” he has left an indelible mark on the international stage. From The Upper House in Hong Kong and the Capella in Singapore to Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, he consistently navigates the intersection of Oriental aesthetics and contemporary vernacular, establishing himself as an undeniable force in global hospitality and high-end residential design. Today, in his third collaboration with MAHA Beijing, he choreographs a profound spiritual resonance.

If the previous two collaborations represented distinct phases in the articulation of Fu’s design philosophy, MAHA 520 is a veritable genetic fusion—he seamlessly melds the “delicate balance of socializing and privacy” of the 900-square-meter panoramic mansion with the “translational power of Oriental culture” derived from the sky courtyard, forging a distinctive aesthetic of “resort-style living.”

This is not merely an evolution of a three-time partnership; it is a profound exploration into how to anchor the lifestyles of contemporary leaders. Minimalist compositions and textures of quiet luxury—everything appears effortless, yet conceals a steadfast commitment to the “aesthetics of subtraction.” It constructs a spiritual sanctuary for the luminaries of our era—a place for enduring residency and quiet contemplation.
