A Dial-Inspired Architecture: First-Sight Marvel

Situated in the heart of the city at Ginza 3-Chome, Tokyo, the brand-new ROLEX flagship store emerges as a new urban landmark defined by its timeless elegance. Spanning four floors of the building, every exterior detail speaks volumes about the brand’s radiant spirit.


The entrance introduces the journey with a spacious, green stone portal. Its undulating patterns manifest the classic “Rolex Green,” symbolizing a vibrant, pulsating vitality. Moving deeper into the store, the space opens into a landscape of streamlined louvers. Though staggered and intertwined, they possess an impeccable sense of sequence—resembling the interlocking mechanics of a watch movement where each component operates independently yet meshes perfectly to generate a collective forward momentum.

A Chronicle of Horology and Wonders

The ground floor features a circular central island dedicated to showcasing timepieces, with a double-layered glass ring floating above to elevate their brilliance. Surrounding materials like travertine, fine timber, and frosted glass are masterfully blended to create a rich, layered, yet dynamic ambiance. A crowning architectural feat is the spiral staircase connecting the floors—acting as a fluid ribbon of time that lends the space a seamless, moving quality.


The basement level houses a workshop and a “Movement” gallery, where specialized experts provide customized brand services and exclusive try-on experiences. Dominated by a champagne tone accented with touches of green, the atmosphere inspires relaxation and tranquility. On the second floor, an expansive hub opens into a series of thematic salons, offering a spontaneous and comfortable space for guests with diverse needs to converse. A long, horizontal green luxury stone bar provides elegant hospitality while casting its green glow out the windows, catching the eye of passersby.


The sales and consultation areas are neatly distributed, featuring a series of meticulously carved niches along the grand walls to offer guests an intimate, VIP shopping experience. The entire design vocabulary honors the brand’s core spirit—reflecting the complexity and precision of a watch, allowing visitors to feel the calm composure and unwavering dedication behind haute horlogerie.

The Ultimate Pilgrimage for Rolex Enthusiasts

Regarding the private clubhouse on the third floor, “there is no Rolex enthusiast who doesn’t wish to be here.” This private salon, reserved exclusively for paramount guests, is adorned with immersive deep green lacquer and marble, cultivating a rich, sophisticated Japanese aesthetic. Each room is meticulously curated by Curiosity studio to express the unique character of Rolex’s classic collections. Within the library, where green and bronze tones meet, breathtaking artworks that intertwine with the stories of the timepieces leave a lasting impression.


This is no longer merely a retail space, but a cultural venue infused with artistry and a futuristic aura. Through its emotionally resonant atmosphere, it allows visitors to deeply absorb the charm and original vision of the ROLEX brand.
