Custom Line Navetta Series: Interior Architecture by ACPV ARCHITECTS

  • May 25, 2026

For Ferretti Group’s Custom Line division, ACPV ARCHITECTS redefines interior architecture with a simple but profound question: when a home leaves solid ground for the sea, how do people’s expectations of space change? The answer unfolds across three yachts – Navetta 50, 38, and 30 – each sharing a consistent architectural language that prioritizes privacy, natural materials, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

Custom Line Navetta 50: Interior Design Focus

The Navetta 50 (49.9m LOA, four decks) devotes exceptional attention to interior habitation. The most distinctive feature is the owner’s deck – a 75m² suite occupying the entire forward upper deck, typically found only on 60m+ yachts. The king-sized bed features an upholstered and stitched leather headboard that subtly separates the sleeping area from the entrance, walk-in closet, and bathroom. On the port side, a white sofa bed; on starboard, a custom-made desk – deliberately low to preserve the horizon. The en-suite bathroom uses Crema d’Orcia marble on walls and floors, with curved steel panel details and a glass window overlooking the sea. A private terrace extends the interior outward.

On the main deck, the interior layout balances social life and tranquility. Upon entering, the main salon is anchored by two generous sofas and leather-upholstered armchairs around a white Carrara marble countertop. The atmosphere is relaxed, quiet, and unpretentious. Sliding glass doors connect seamlessly to the aft deck, but the interior itself feels complete – not merely a corridor to outside. Further forward, the dining area features an oval white Carrara marble table seating twelve. The material palette remains restrained: leather, marble, natural wood, and linen.

The Sky Lounge on the upper deck is an interior retreat with mirrored ceilings that amplify the sense of volume. A large sofa stretches the full length, accompanied by a 77-inch Bang & Olufsen television framed in elegant walnut wood and black aluminum. The design avoids clutter; every element serves both function and quiet luxury.

Throughout the Navetta 50, Antonio Citterio applies refined details and natural materials consistently. Leather appears on headboards, armchairs, and subtle trim. Marble is used for countertops and bathroom surfaces. Walnut wood and black aluminum frame windows and screens. The result is an interior that never shouts but invites prolonged experience – a floating home where order, scale, and human perception are the true measures.

Custom Line Navetta 38 & Navetta 30

Navetta 38 continues the same interior language on a smaller scale. The 40m² owner‘s suite, five guest cabins all en-suite, and a 70m² beach club close to the water feature floor-to-ceiling glass for continuous visual flow. Interior materials – leather, linen, parchment – are applied to surfaces and soft furnishings with rich tactility, creating a restrained yet layered atmosphere. Circulation routes are finely zoned across four decks, ensuring privacy without compromising openness.

Navetta 30 proves that compact size need not sacrifice spatial quality. The 35m² owner’s suite on the main deck includes panoramic windows, a separate dressing area, and an elegant bathroom. Curvilinear forms – curved window frames, a spiral staircase, rounded wall-to-floor transitions – soften sightlines and guide movement. The 23m² sky salon on the upper deck connects directly to an exterior seating area for ten, allowing natural indoor-outdoor flow. Every corner is crafted as an ideal stage for life at sea.

Across the series, interior design is not about decoration but about answering real needs. ACPV ARCHITECTS establishes a fundamental order between people and space – quiet, authentic, and perfectly suited to life on the water.
