Opening on March 1, 2026, Six Senses London arrives quietly beside Hyde Park, in the storied heart of London’s West End.
Set within the reborn The Whiteley—a landmark layered with over a century of history—the project unfolds as a £3 billion act of careful restoration and renewal, envisioned by MARK Capital Management in partnership with CC Land. Here, heritage is not preserved as memory alone, but reawakened as experience—where time, craft, and contemporary sensibility meet in quiet balance.
Architectural restoration by Foster + Partners.

Heritage & Design Philosophy
Six Senses London steps gracefully into The Whiteleys’ century‑old legacy. Foster + Partners gently restored the landmark’s soaring Art Deco bones, and AvroKO draped them in a modern, warm elegance. The hotel’s centerpiece – an Italian‑designed spiral staircase – has been meticulously revived as a dramatic axis linking lounge, dining room and private club, a reminder that history can rise again when treated with care. Rich materials (aged oak, natural stone, brushed brass, and linen) and bespoke details are layered throughout, so that luxury is felt in every texture as well as every sight. Here sustainability is implicit in design: preserving and reusing original features makes each polished surface a celebration of craftsmanship and conservation, rather than something new.

Stewardship & Guest Experience
Stewardship flows through every floor: above the city, a 1,150 m² wildflower rooftop garden and planted terraces weave nature into the building, inviting pollinators – and guests – to pause amid urban life. Harvested rainwater nourishes these green spaces (and even flushes toilets), and all drinking water is filtered on-site, so modern comforts leave a lighter footprint. Guest rooms are designed as tranquil sanctuaries: a warm palette of wood, linen, and soft lighting creates a gentle, daylight‑filled calm. Of the 109 rooms and suites, some gaze toward Hyde Park’s leafy quiet or the vibrant streets beyond, while others open inward to the serene courtyard; many suites extend onto private terraces, offering either the city’s electric energy or a hushed retreat in foliage. Every choice follows this mindful ethos: seasonal British ingredients, house‑bottled water and artisanal finishes turn each indulgence into an act of care, making every stay a chapter in a living story of wellness and belonging.
